These meatballs, thanks to the grains of rice, really look like an aggressive hedgehog, are popular because of the simplicity of the recipe and its relative dietaryity. Making minced hedgehogs even more useful will help to cook them in the oven.

Step 1
In order to cook minced hedgehogs, you need meat. You can cook the minced meat yourself or buy ready-made, but in this case you need to remember that the minced beef is dry enough, so it is advisable to additionally scroll a few pieces of lard to it or just mix the beef with pork.
Step 2
Since hedgehogs are cooked in the oven according to a slightly different recipe than being stewed in water or sauce, the rice for minced meat must be boiled for 10 minutes. During this time, the shell of the grain will soften, but will not have time to cook completely, which will speed up the process of cooking meatballs from minced meat and rice in the oven.
Step 3
When the minced meat is ready, it is necessary to mix it with rice, which is taken in proportions of 1 to 5. If there is too much rice, in the process of swelling you will not get hedgehogs with meat, but rice porridge with minced meat. In order for the meatballs not to lose their shape, you can add one egg to the minced meat. The minced meat must be stirred until a homogeneous consistency, otherwise the rice will not be evenly distributed in the meatballs.
Step 4
Roll the minced meat into balls of the same size and place them on a greased baking sheet. The distance between them can be minimal, since the rice is already partially steamed and the meatballs will not change their size radically.
