It is necessary

  • For the test:
  • - 3-4 glasses of flour;
  • - 1 glass of boiling water;
  • - a pinch of salt.
  • For filling:
  • - 0.5 kilograms of meat (pork or beef);
  • - 5 cloves of garlic;
  • - 50 grams of butter;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - sunflower oil for frying.

Instructions

Step 1

It should be said in advance that the dough can simply be bought at the store. However, the best result is obtained when you cook it yourself, and the necessary ingredients are in any home.

Step 2

First, you need to completely dissolve the salt in boiling water. Next, this water must be thoroughly mixed with one glass of flour. Gradually adding the remaining flour, stir the dough. Make a tough dough and let it rest until it cools completely. Thanks to this simple cooking method, the dough becomes very pliable. The optimum thickness for rolling is 2 mm. The dough is very crispy after cooking, but becomes softer and juicier over time.

Step 3

This dough has a fairly long term of use. It does not have to be used right away, it can remain in the refrigerator for another 2-3 days without any problems.

Step 4

Cooking the filling also does not take much time, and also has several variations. Wash and cut the meat. How to cut depends on the further cooking method. If you want minced meat filling, then there is no difference in slicing. However, for a non-uniform filling, the meat is cut finely, sometimes in strips.

Step 5

In the second option, after cutting, the meat needs to be fried a little. Don't overdo it or it will dry out. Add spices when cooking, or marinate it beforehand. Turn off the heat, add the onion, finely chopping it beforehand. With minced meat, everything is easier, just pass the peeled onions and meat through a meat grinder, adding spices.

Step 6

Take out the dough. Roll it out to 2mm thick, then cut it in circles, size as desired. Add minced meat to each circle. Add a little, the abundance of toppings can ruin the dish. Add a piece of butter to the filling. "Seal" the pasties.

Step 7

Take a frying pan, pour plenty of vegetable oil there, heat it. After gently lowering the pasties there, fry for about five minutes on both sides. Determine the time according to the readiness of the test. Put the freshly cooked pasties on a wire rack or edible paper to get rid of excess oil.

Step 8

Various filling variations:

The peculiarity of the cheburek is that any filling suits it. This is a pizza of oriental cuisine, which is suitable for any spices and ingredients. The only ingredient needed is meat. As for the compatibility with dairy components, everything is fine here. Cheese goes well with cheburek filling, sometimes unsweetened cottage cheese or feta cheese is added.
