It is necessary

    • 500 g cauliflower
    • 2 juicy tomatoes
    • 1 onion
    • 200 g bacon
    • 1 glass of cream
    • 20 g cheese
    • a piece of butter
    • fresh herbs
    • grated nutmeg
    • ground black pepper
    • salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the cauliflower. Remove it from the freezer and put it in the microwave to defrost. If necessary, wash it with clean running water, disassemble it into inflorescences. Cut large pieces so that the dimensions of each piece are approximately one centimeter by centimeter.

Step 2

Put the pan on fire, pour water, lightly salt. When the water in the pot boils, dip the cauliflower in it and cook for a few minutes. Then drain the water using a colander and cool the cabbage.

Step 3

Cut the tomatoes into wedges. Cut the bacon into slices. Chop fresh herbs, it can be dill, parsley, celery - of your choice.

Step 4

Grate the cheese on a medium grater. Divide the cheese in half. Mix the first half with a wooden spoon in a bowl with chilled cream. Add grated nutmeg there. If you wish, you can add your other favorite spices in addition.

Step 5

Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Heat a frying pan separately on the stove, put a piece of butter on it and wait for it to melt. Pour the melted butter into a casserole dish. Put the prepared cauliflower in the same first layer, smooth it out. Put the pieces of bacon on the next layer, the third - tomatoes with herbs. Level again. Pour the whole thing over with the cream and cheese mixture. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Sprinkle the remaining half of the cheese on top. Place the mold in the oven. Bake your dish until light golden brown.

Step 6

Remove casserole from oven and cut until hot. Divide the slices into large, pretty, flat plates. For beauty and extra taste, you can decorate each of the pieces with 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise or sour cream and / or a sprig of fresh herbs.
