The combination of cottage cheese and apples is always healthy and tasty. If this wonderful duet is supplemented with shortbread dough and aromatic cinnamon, then a festive mood will be added to the described advantages.
It is necessary
- For ten servings:
- - 1 kg of apples;
- - 500 g of cottage cheese;
- - 200 g margarine;
- - 2 cups wheat flour;
- - 1, 5 cups of sugar;
- - 100 g sour cream;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 1 tsp baking powder;
- - a pinch of cinnamon.
Instructions
Step 1
For the dough, grind three egg yolks with 0.5 cups of sugar, then add margarine, add baking powder, flour, knead the thick dough with your hands. At the end, add sour cream, roll into a ball, cover, put in the refrigerator for half an hour. During this time, your oven will warm up and you will prepare the filling.
Step 2
Wipe the cottage cheese, mix with 1 yolk, 1/3 cup sugar. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices.
Step 3
Roll out the dough on a large baking sheet thinner, make sides around the edges. Spread the curd filling evenly on the dough, lay the apple slices, sprinkle with cinnamon. Place in the oven for 30 minutes. Cook at 200 degrees.
Step 4
Whisk the remaining egg whites and sugar into a lather. Remove the half-baked pie, put this foam on top, smooth over the apples, put it back in the oven.
