Mascarpone is a cheese made from cream. It has a delicate taste and soft creamy consistency, which is why it is often added to desserts. Mascarpone goes well with chocolate, so a pie with the addition of these two components will turn out to be very tasty.

It is necessary

  • For eight servings:
  • - 500 g mascarpone cheese;
  • - 200 g of black 70% chocolate;
  • - 200 g butter;
  • - 200 g of red currant;
  • - 200 g of sugar;
  • - 140 g of wheat flour;
  • - 5 eggs;
  • - 1 teaspoon of baking powder, vanilla extract.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Sift flour with baking powder.

Step 2

Cut the butter into cubes, break the chocolate, melt with butter in a water bath until smooth. Mix, cool.

Step 3

Beat three eggs and 150 g sugar in a mixer to create a fluffy white foam. Then reduce the speed of the mixer, pour in a thin stream of warm chocolate mass. Add flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.

Step 4

Whisk separately the mascarpone with 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.

Step 5

Grease the springform pan with butter, sprinkle with flour. Place on the bottom in three layers: part of the chocolate mass, the mascarpone filling, and again the chocolate mass. Use a fork to make circular streaks to create a marbled pattern.

Step 6

Place the dish in the oven for an hour. Cool the finished cake, remove from the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Decorate with berries. Store the finished chocolate cake at room temperature.
