Kiwi contains twice as much vitamin C as oranges. In addition, it is a source of vitamins K and E. There are several ways to consume this great fruit.
Instructions
Step 1
Fresh kiwi is the most effective way to get all the benefits of this fruit. Kiwi peels can be eaten too. Therefore, wash the fruit thoroughly with cold water and eat it, for example, in the same way as a peach. If you don't like the fuzzy skin of the kiwi, cut it in half and eat the pulp with a teaspoon, or simply cut the skin off and the fruit is ready to eat.
Step 2
Kiwi is no less tasty in dried form, but this is not for everybody's taste. As a rule, you can buy them in shops selling oriental sweets. To kill the sour taste of this fruit, sprinkle it with sugar. Tearing off dried kiwi is as difficult as breaking off seeds. Therefore, in order not to harm your health, use this product in moderation.
Step 3
Kiwi is a great addition to cocktails and juices. Do not throw away the peel of this fruit when juicing - it contains a huge amount of fiber and other useful components. If you are preparing a cocktail with a blender, cut off the skin first. Kiwi has a slightly sour taste and pairs wonderfully with fruits such as strawberries, mango, melon, pineapple, orange and banana. In addition, kiwi can be added to vegetable cocktails, which will add spice to them. The seeds and core of this fruit are also edible.
Step 4
Kiwi can also be added to main dishes. This fruit contains the enzyme actinidin, which can soften the texture of meat. Puree 1-2 kiwis and add to the marinade for beef, chicken, pork, or thoroughly rub chunks of meat with it for a great shish kebab. If you add kiwi puree to the sauce, it tastes sweet and sour. This fruit can be safely combined with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sesame seeds, lemon, fennel, onion and celery.
