The taste of these cookies is completely up to you - you can grind just a couple of fresh mint leaves when cooking so that the cookies only have a slight mint aroma, or you can grind a whole handful - then you get a pronounced mint taste.
It is necessary
- - 200 g flour;
- - 100 g of butter;
- - 50-100 g of sugar;
- - fresh mint leaves;
- - 1 egg.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop fresh mint. To do this, put a handful of mint in a blender bowl, add 50-100 g of sugar, chop until puree. The amount of sugar also depends on you - how sweet you usually make baked goods for tea.
Step 2
Now in a deep bowl, combine softened butter (remove it from the refrigerator a couple of hours before cooking), flour and sweet mint puree. Stir the dough with your hands until smooth. After that, beat in one chicken egg, knead the dough.
Step 3
Roll a small sausage from the resulting dough, cut it into circles. Place the dough circles on a baking sheet (it must be covered with baking paper beforehand), spread at a short distance from each other so that the cookies do not stick together.
Step 4
Bake for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees (preheat the oven to the specified temperature in advance). Ready-made mint cookies can be served with tea or milk right away, or you can cool them down and put them in a hermetically sealed container to keep them fresh for more than one week.
