You don't need any special skills to learn how to cook in a multicooker. The main thing is to know a few recipes and everything will work out. One of the simple, but at the same time delicious culinary masterpieces that can be cooked in a slow cooker is chicken drumsticks in sweet and sour sauce. To create a dish you will need:

  • Chicken drumsticks - 5-6 pcs. (take such an amount that the legs lie in the multicooker bowl "lay" in one layer);
  • Green apple - 1 pc. (choose hard fruit);
  • 2 tbsp. l. ketchup, soy sauce, honey and mustard;
  • A little vegetable oil;
  • Salt and seasonings to taste.

In a deep bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup and mustard until smooth. If the honey is too thick, melt it in a water bath, otherwise it will be difficult to mix with other ingredients, and the sauce will turn out to be too thick.

Rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water, remove the skin from them and pierce the meat in several places with a fork. Now immerse the legs in the prepared sauce, try to keep all the legs covered with the filling. Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes. After that, you can start cooking.

Pour vegetable oil into a multicooker bowl, put the chicken legs. Set the "Frying" mode on the unit for 10 minutes. If possible, set the temperature to 100 degrees. While the legs are fried on one side, wash the apple, peel it, remove the seeds and core. Cut the fruit into medium-sized squares.

After the multicooker beeps, gently turn the drumsticks over, add salt and pepper to taste and place the prepared apple slices on top. Set the "Fry" mode again for 10 minutes. After the chicken legs are fried on the other side, pour the sauce in which the meat was marinated into the multicooker bowl. Close the cover of the machine and set the Baking mode. Cook the dish until the beep sounds, in most multicooker this is 50 minutes.

You can serve the finished dish with mashed potatoes, rice and other side dishes. Before serving, you can decorate the drumsticks with apple slices with which the legs were prepared. The fruit will taste very spicy.
