- water (150 ml);

- baking powder for dough (1 teaspoon);

- granulated sugar (1 glass).

Sift flour and combine with baking powder and potato starch. Add baking soda, quenching with vinegar (alternatively, you can use apple or lemon juice). In the resulting mixture, carefully, in small doses, pour in sunflower oil. Do not forget to mix everything constantly so that no lumps form. Completely dissolve granulated sugar and table salt in water, put vanillin, then pour the sweet-salty liquid into the flour mass in a thin stream. Knead a soft dough and roll it into a flat cake about 1 cm thick.

Before baking on a baking sheet, pieces of sweet lean dough can be additionally sprinkled with granulated sugar.

Cut the cookies into rhombuses, triangles, squares, or any other shape using special confectionery notches. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and cook the lean cookies in the oven at 180 ° C for 15 minutes. The pastry should be lightly browned.

Cookies with carrots and ginger

The original lean pastries with spices, nuts and carrots are very soft, tender and pleases with an unusual flavor bouquet. For this recipe you will need:

- grated carrots (250 g);

- oatmeal (250 g);

- premium wheat flour (250 g);

Spicy cookies with tomato juice

If you want to really surprise your family and guests with a non-trivial delicacy, combine sugar, spices and tomato juice in baked goods. To bake this original spicy cookie recipe, you will need:

- tomato juice (125 ml);

- granulated sugar (2 tablespoons);

- premium wheat flour (2 glasses);

- sunflower oil (3 tablespoons);

- table salt (1 teaspoon);

- freshly ground black pepper (on the tip of a knife);

- baking powder for dough (1 teaspoon);

- a mixture of spices to taste (for example, dried basil, rosemary, oregano).

Mix vegetable oil with tomato juice and add granulated sugar, table salt and ground pepper to the resulting liquid. Combine the sifted flour with baking powder and add in small portions to the oil substance. Knead a soft, slightly sticky dough and place on a buttered cutting board.

If the lean dough does not roll out well, cool it slightly and roll it through a meat grinder (large wire rack). Spread the resulting sausages with a spoon on baking paper and gently level.

Roll out the flat cake 0.5 cm thick and shape the cookie using the notches or shot glasses. Bake the pastry for 15 minutes on baking paper, setting the oven temperature to 190 ° C. While the finished baked goods are warm, lightly salt them (use fine-grained Extra salt), sprinkle with a mixture of chopped herbs.
