Almost every American knows how to roast deliciously delicious slices of marshmallows, or marshmallows, which require nothing for their preparation except a wooden stick and, in fact, a fire. However, there are other ways to fry marshmallows.
All about marshmallows
When roasted over a fire, American marshmallows are swollen and covered with a golden crust. Inside, it acquires a delicate creamy consistency, which makes its taste unique and unforgettable. Marshmallows are made up of gelatin, corn syrup or sugar, plus dextrose and whipped flavors. Unlike traditional marshmallows, it does not contain egg white or applesauce.
The name marsh mallow in translation sounds like "marsh mallow", from the root of this plant used to get a jelly-like white mass of marshmallows.
Small pieces of marshmallows are added to desserts, salads, ice cream, and also decorate with them cakes, cakes and hot sweet drinks. There are chocolate, caramel, nutty, colored and flavored marshmallows, which are usually fried on campfires on hikes or picnics. In Russia, marshmallows can be purchased in the form of four-color cylinders, since it is not yet so widespread in the country.
Roasting marshmallows
To roast marshmallows over a fire, you will need any wooden stick (even a freshly broken twig will do), a bag of marshmallows, and a fire. A piece of marshmallows must be strung on a stick and carefully put into the fire - but not into its very core, but literally over the flame. Once the marshmallow has acquired a pleasant golden color, it can be taken out of the fire and savor its delicious taste straight from the stick.
When frying marshmallows over a fire, the stick must be periodically turned so that the marshmallows are fried from all sides.
If you do not have the opportunity to get out on a picnic, and you really want to try fried marshmallows - do not be discouraged - marshmallows can be cooked at home. To do this, you need to heat a piece of any chocolate, a slice of marshmallow and unsweetened cookies in the microwave for thirty seconds. Remove the heated ingredients and place them on one cookie, and cover it with the second on top - you will get a delicious sandwich with a delicate chocolate-marshmallow filling.
In addition, small, unflavored marshmallows can be added to cappuccino, hot cocoa or hot chocolate, which tastes even better with marshmallows. Airy pieces of marshmallow under the influence of high temperature change their elastic consistency and turn into wonderful vanilla clouds that are adored by both children and adults.
