How do you like the idea to surprise your guests with a barbecue? Believe me, this is not a joke: you are really able to surprise them with a kebab, but just not quite ordinary - this one will be made from shrimp baked in ham. Such a tasty, but at the same time, dietary delicacy will be remembered by everyone and will quickly disappear from the table.

It is necessary

  • - 12 large peeled shrimps;
  • - 100 g of ham;
  • - 100 ml of olive oil;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey;
  • - 1 lemon.

Instructions

Step 1

Well salted ham is best suited for this dish, otherwise the shrimp will turn out to be bland - it will be impossible to eat them.

Step 2

Wrap each peeled shrimp individually in a slice of ham. When all the shrimp are wrapped, skewer through them. If you plan to use skewers or small wooden skewers, soak them briefly beforehand (to soak), otherwise they will burn and the shrimp will not bake.

Step 3

For a change, you can alternate shrimp on skewers with pieces of vegetables: paprika, cherry tomatoes, etc.

Step 4

The next step is the sauce. To prepare it, you just need to beat together the zest and lemon juice, honey and olive oil.

Step 5

Grill the prawns in the ham for two minutes on the grill or barbecue, then drizzle with the sauce. Shish kebab is served hot. Bon appetit to you and your guests.
