Filling for yeast dough can be not only sweet jam or berries, but also various types of vegetables, meat and fish. Stewed cabbage is undoubtedly one of the most popular and favorite toppings. In the provided recipe, there is also canned saury in oil, which, impregnating all the ingredients with its marinade, makes the filling more juicy and more pleasant to the taste. Yeast dough can be prepared using a dough (when the bulk of the products is added to an already matched dough) or, to save time, you can use a non-steam cooking method.
It is necessary
- - milk 3, 2% fat 300 ml;
- - flour 650 g;
- - dry yeast 11 g;
- - butter 65 g;
- - sugar 20 g;
- - fresh cabbage 300 g;
- - carrots 1 pc.;
- - canned saury 200 g;
- - greens;
- - finely ground salt;
- - refined vegetable oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter until liquid, in a bowl over the fire, and then cool it completely.
Step 2
Dissolve dry yeast in three tablespoons of warm milk and pour them into a container with the remaining liquid and sugar. Salt the mixture and, adding flour in several steps, knead the fluffy soft dough. Finally, add the prepared butter.
Step 3
Form a ball from the dough, put in a clean container and brush with vegetable oil. Cover the dough with a film or a towel and leave warm to approach. The dough should be three times larger.
Step 4
Chop the cabbage. Grate the carrots with a fine tooth.
Step 5
Place the cabbage in a preheated pan and simmer for 6 minutes. Add carrots and simmer vegetables together until half cooked. Season with salt and seasonings to taste.
Step 6
Mash the pieces of saury with a fork. Finely chop the greens and mix with saury. Add to stewed cabbage.
Step 7
Put oiled paper in a deep frying pan and add some of the dough. Place the prepared cabbage and saury filling in the middle of the pie. Then cover gently with dough, forming an appropriate pattern from it. Grease the cake with milk and let rise for about 25 minutes.
Step 8
Preheat the oven to 200˚С. Bake the cake for 40 minutes.
