Cod is a fish found in the northern seas. She has tender, white, very dense meat. Cooking this delicious marinade fish is very easy. It can be a supplement to the main daily food and can decorate the festive table.

- Cod fillet - 1kg;
- carrots - 0.5 kg;
- onions - 0.5 kg;
- tomato paste - 1 can (300 gr);
- vinegar - 2 tbsp. l;
- sugar - 3-4 tbsp. l;
- bay leaf - 4-5 pcs;
- pepper (peas);
- sunflower oil.
Instructions
Step 1
Divide the cod fillet into portions and boil until tender. Boil the fish in a little water.
Step 2
Add salt, black peas and bay leaf (2 pcs) to the water where the cod is boiled.
Step 3
Lightly fry the onion in vegetable oil, then add the carrots to it. Roast vegetables until tender.
Step 4
Add sugar, salt, tomato paste and bay leaf to the vegetables in the skillet. Simmer all this for 10-15 minutes under the lid.
Step 5
If the vegetable mixture is too thick, add a few ladles of the stock in which the fish was originally cooked into the pan.
Step 6
Turn off the heat and add a little vinegar, mix everything thoroughly.
Step 7
Arrange the fish in a high-edged dish and top with marinade. Cool it down. Serve cold.
