Of course, this is not quite pilaf - after all, it is without meat. But for women's gatherings, such pilaf is ideal. It is non-greasy, pleasant and unusual in taste. Suitable for those who do not eat meat.

It is necessary

  • - 1, 5 cups of rice (long grain is better);
  • - 2-3 cloves of garlic;
  • - a handful of dried fruits (dried apricots, raisins, prunes, etc.);
  • - 1-2 bell peppers;
  • - salt;
  • - pepper;
  • - spices for pilaf;
  • - vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, rinse the rice well. Do not be lazy, the water can be changed 10-12 times, but then the pilaf will be rice to rice. We clean the garlic, cut each clove into 4 parts. Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds and cut into pieces.

Step 2

At this time, heat the vegetable oil in a bowl with a thick bottom. Fry chopped garlic on it, which we then discard, and bell pepper (we only lightly sauté it). Mix the washed rice with dried fruits, put it in an existing container, mix with bell pepper, salt to taste and fill with cold boiled water. Cover with a lid and put in the oven. When it boils, reduce the temperature and bring the dish to readiness.

Step 3

At the end of cooking, add spices to taste and let stand for a while. After that, mix everything thoroughly and serve.
