Irish stew tastes better if left to steep overnight.

Irish stew can be made in an easier way. Products: 1 kg of beef, 4 carrots, 2 onions, 6-8 pcs. potatoes, water, pepper, salt. Cut the meat into small cubes, fry in a skillet. Add the water and place the carrots, chopped into strips, and onion rings. Bring water to a boil, season with salt, add half of the potatoes, cut into small cubes. Reduce fire to minimum.

After half an hour, add the other half of the coarsely chopped potatoes and cook for another half hour. At the end of cooking, add chopped garlic and herbs. The potatoes that have been added to the stew will boil hard, resulting in a thick stew with meat. If desired, the stew meat can be sautéed with a little bacon.
