Pasta has won worldwide fame. Italy can be called the homeland of pasta. From the same place came another name for pasta - pasta. If you love fish in any form, try making tuna pasta.
It is necessary
- - 250 g of spaghetti;
- - 160 g of canned tuna or tuna in its own juice;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - 4 medium sized tomatoes;
- - canned olives;
- - dried peppercorns;
- - a tablespoon of tomato sauce;
- - sunflower oil;
- - salt;
- - freshly ground pepper;
- - basil greens.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil a lot of water, season with salt to taste, and add the pasta. Bring the water back to a boil and cook as directed on the pasta container.
Step 2
While the water is boiling and the pasta is cooking, make a tomato sauce with tuna and basil. First, peel the onions, wash them and chop them finely. Do the same with the garlic.
Step 3
Wash the tomatoes. It is necessary to remove the skin from them. In order for it to come off faster, make a cruciform incision and dip the tomato in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Then remove the peel. Cut the tomatoes into large cubes.
Step 4
Heat olive oil or sunflower oil in a skillet. Put the pepperoncino pepper in it. Put the onion in the pan, add salt and pepper to taste. Onions should be fried until golden brown, but not overcooked. At the end of frying, add the garlic and let the whole mixture sit over the fire for a minute.
Step 5
By this time, the peperoncino has already given up some of its pungency, so it can be thrown away. Add the tomatoes to the onion-garlic mixture and salt a little more. Stir and simmer until all excess moisture has evaporated.
Step 6
As soon as there is no moisture in the sauce and it begins to thicken, add a tablespoon of tomato sauce to it. Add the olives to it, after removing the liquid from them, as well as canned tuna and basil leaves. Stir the sauce, add salt, pepper or a pinch of sugar to taste.
Step 7
By this time, you already have ready-made pasta. Throw it in a colander to drain excess water. Combine the pasta with the sauce you just made. Can be served immediately.
