Quite tasty, tender and slightly spicy lentil soup will appeal to everyone, without exception. It has a beautiful reddish orange color and a light pepper and dill aroma. Since the mass of the dish is homogeneous, if desired, this soup can even be used as a sauce.
It is necessary
- - cream or sour cream - 150 g;
- - garlic - 1 clove;
- - tomato - 2 pcs;
- - ground black pepper - a pinch;
- - hot pepper - a pinch;
- - ground paprika - 1 tablespoon;
- - salt - 1.5 tsp;
- - dill - a bunch;
- - water - 1.5 liters;
- - red lentils - 200 g;
- - carrots - 150 g;
- - onion - 150 g;
- - Bulgarian pepper - 300 g.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the carrots into mugs. Cut the pepper into quarters and remove the seed stalk. Peel the onion and cut into 4 or 8 pieces. Remove the skin from the tomatoes by scalding them with boiling water and then dipping them into cold water.
Step 2
Place the prepared vegetables in a saucepan. Pour in water and add paprika. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Rinse and add the red lentils to the vegetables.
Step 3
Cook for 10 minutes until the lentils are cooked, then transfer the contents of the pot to the blender bowl. If the whole mass does not fit, drain some of the liquid. Place a blender of dill and a clove of garlic in a blender. Add black and hot ground peppers and salt.
Step 4
Beat the mixture until smooth. If you wish, you can add warmed cream or sour cream and beat again. Pour the puree into a saucepan and mix with the liquid you poured earlier.
Step 5
Lentil puree soup with vegetables is ready, now you can serve it along with bread crumbs or white bread. It will be delicious hot, so heat the dish after storage in the refrigerator.
