To cook chicken kebab in the oven, you will need:

- chicken breast - 2 pcs.;

- onions - 2 pcs.;

- vegetable oil - 30 ml;

- olives - 20 pcs.;

- lemon juice - 50 ml;

- salt pepper;

- paprika - 1 tsp;

- wooden skewers - 8 pcs.

In order to make your kebab not very greasy, it is best to use chicken breast, as well as pitted black olives. This is what will make your dish juicy and low in calories.

First, you need to properly marinate the chicken breast: for this, remove the skin from the breast and remove all bones and cartilage, if any, and then cut the meat into small portions suitable for barbecue. Place the chicken breast in a large enamel bowl, then add salt, paprika, pepper and lemon juice, which can be substituted with apple cider vinegar if desired.

Peel the onions and cut into rings, then lightly remember in your hands so that the juice appears. Add the onion to the meat and stir, now close the container with the meat with a lid and refrigerate for about 2-3 hours. In the best case, chicken breasts should be marinated for about 8 hours. Stir the meat from time to time.

After the indicated time, pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and fry the marinated meat. It is necessary to fry in all directions over low heat. This heat treatment helps preserve the juiciness of the meat.

In the future, it is necessary to string the breast on wooden skewers, alternating with onions and black olives. On each skewer, you need to put on 4-5 pieces of meat, leave about 5 centimeters on each side of the skewer.

Cover the baking dish with foil or parchment paper, spread the meat on skewers on a baking sheet so that the edges of the skewers lie on the sides of the mold. Place the baking sheet with meat in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 25-30 minutes. After the specified time, the chicken kebab in the oven on skewers is ready and can be served hot.
