If you love pasta, try baking it with cream cheese. Such a dish turns out to be incredibly tasty and is ideal for a hearty dinner.

- -2 cups uncooked pasta
- -2-1 / 2 cups milk 2% fat
- -1 tablespoon mustard
- -1 teaspoon salt
- - A pinch of cayenne pepper
- -2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (if not, substitute with any other)
- -2 tbsp butter
- -1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- -1/2 cup rusks (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Fill a large saucepan with water. Add pasta to it and cook according to the instructions on the package.

While the pasta is boiling, preheat the oven. Whisk the milk with mustard, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk the butter into the flour. The mixture will be dry and very rough. Gradually add milk with mustard and seasonings, stir constantly. Remove the pan from heat and add 1-1 / 2 cups of cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese is melted.
Step 3
When the pasta is done, gently drain the water. Add them to the cheese sauce from step 2.
Step 4
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Add breadcrumbs if desired. Place the pasta on a baking sheet. Bake everything in the oven at 200 degrees for about 5 minutes.
