Baked fish dishes are delicious and nutritious, they contain a large amount of nutrients: fats, proteins, carbohydrates and fatty acids, which are especially beneficial for our body. Despite the fact that the name of the dishes contains the name of the fish, it is customary to use fish fillets for baking under vegetables. As vegetables, with which fish are usually baked, bell peppers, potatoes, and tomatoes are often used.
The following ingredients are used to prepare baked telapia with tomatoes and cheese:
- telapia fillet 2 pcs. 100 g each;
- tomatoes 100 g;
- refractory cheese 150 g;
- egg 1 pc.;
- mayonnaise 10 g;
- flour 10 g;
- parsley greens 15 g;
- salt to taste;
- pepper to taste.
It is better to use cheese of the Gouda or Edam varieties. To prepare the cheese mass, the cheese must be stripped of hardened crusts and grated on a coarse grater. Add 1 small egg or half an egg, mayonnaise and flour to it. Salt all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Wash the tomatoes, peel, if necessary, and cut into large thick circles.
Defrost the telapia fillet, rinse under cold water and dry. Grease a baking sheet or baking dish with vegetable oil and place the prepared telapia fillet on it. Put 1-2 cups of tomato on the pieces of fish and put the cheese mass on top in the form of a hat. Gently, but not strongly press it to the fish.
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200-220 degrees Celsius and put the prepared fish there. It must be baked for 20-30 minutes, depending on the degree of heating of the oven. The dish is considered ready when the cheese has melted and darkens slightly. When serving, garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
