Green rolls are one of the most unusual dishes in Japanese cuisine. These rolls got their name due to the caviar, which is used for their preparation. There are 3 varieties of flying fish roe - black, red and green. The color of this caviar depends on the ingredients that are added to it to obtain a certain shade.
It is necessary
- - nori algae;
- - rice for sushi;
- - Philadelphia cheese;
- - salmon fillet or peeled shrimp;
- - green tobiko caviar.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare sushi rice by seasoning with soy sauce and rice vinegar.
Step 2
Place a sheet of nori seaweed on the bamboo mat. To prevent the mat from getting dirty, it is better to wrap it with cling film. Cover the surface of the sheet with boiled sushi rice. Grease a layer of rice generously with green tobiko caviar and turn the leaf with the seaweed so that the rice is on the cling film.
Step 3
Place the filling of Philadelphia cream cheese, salmon (or shrimp) slices and tobiko caviar in the middle of the sheet. If you are preparing a roll with shrimps, then you can pre-fry them in vegetable oil.
Step 4
Using a mat, wrap the roll and cut it into 6-8 equal parts. Green rolls should be served with pickled ginger and soy sauce.
