Step 1

Rub the prepared pieces of fish with pepper and salt to taste. Then heat the skillet and pour the vegetable oil into it to cover the bottom of the pan. Add fish and fry 15 minutes over medium heat.

Pour 100 g of any cognac into a frying pan, quickly light it and remove the dishes from the stove. Proceed with extreme caution, as a fairly high flame will light up over the dish.

Wait for the fire to go out. Then add a small amount of water, 300 g of fat sour cream and spices to your taste to the dish. Leave the fish to simmer, covered over low heat for half an hour.
