Cooking potato dishes is quite common in many families. However, not everyone knows that potatoes can become the main ingredient in a wonderful original dish - roll. There are a huge number of different fillings. Try the meat roll.

- Potatoes - about 800 g;
- Parmesan - 50 - 80 g;
- Blue cheese - 30 g;
- Garlic - 3 cloves;
- Egg yolks - 2 pcs.;
- Butter - about 50 g;
- Salt;
- Bay leaf;
- Ground beef - 150 - 200 g;
- Carrots - 1 pc.;
- Onions - 1 pc.;
- Canned tomatoes - 200 g;
- Pepper;
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
Step 1
Peel potatoes, wash and place in a pot of water. Add the peeled garlic to the same saucepan. Bring to a boil. Season with salt and lightly to taste. Boil the potatoes until tender.
Step 2
Drain, remove the laurel leaves and lightly dry the potatoes on the stove. Mash well with a pusher until smooth.
Step 3
Rub the parmesan and blue cheese on a fine grater. Add everything to the puree. Stir well. Add egg yolks. The potatoes for the roll are ready.
Step 4
Peel the onions and carrots. Wash, dry and chop finely and finely with a knife. Heat the olive oil well in a skillet. Add onions and carrots to the skillet. Sauté for 5 minutes, until the onions are translucent.
Step 5
Defrost the minced meat if necessary. Use the bottom shelf of the refrigerator for proper defrosting. As a last resort, you can leave the minced meat in the room for several hours. If you don't have time for this, use the microwave.
Step 6
Put the minced meat in a skillet with onions and carrots and mix everything thoroughly. Fry the minced meat with constant stirring. If you do not do this, the minced meat can be fried in one piece. Minced meat must be fried until light brown.
Step 7
Remove the canned tomatoes from the jar. Let them drain. Chop the tomatoes finely with a knife and add to the minced meat. Stir.
Step 8
Bring the mixture to a boil in a skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add bay leaves. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes. The finished filling will dry out.
Step 9
Spread the cling film on the table and place the mashed potatoes on top of it. Give it a rectangular shape. Cover the potatoes with a layer of plastic wrap and roll out an even layer. Place the finished filling on the potato layer. Using cling film, gently shape the roll.
Step 10
Preheat oven to 210 degrees. Place the roll on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until golden brown.
