Tasty surimi sticks have recently appeared in domestic cuisines, but have already firmly established themselves as the main component of a variety of snacks, without which not a single celebration can do. By mixing different ingredients of crab salad, every time you get a filling dish with a rich taste, very appetizing and also economical.
Light crab salad with vegetables
Ingredients:
- 350 g of crab sticks;
- 500 g of Chinese cabbage;
- 1 can of canned corn (400 g);
- 2 cucumbers;
- 30 g each green onion and dill;
- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper;
- 80 g of 20% sour cream;
- salt.
Wash all fresh vegetables and pat dry on a thick paper towel. Chop the Chinese cabbage thinly. Cut cucumbers and crab sticks into cubes. Chop green onions and dill finely. Combine all prepared foods in a large salad bowl, add corn. Stir everything, pepper, season with sour cream and salt to taste. If the appetizer is dry, add some canned corn liquid.
Crab salad with rice and eggs
Ingredients:
- 300 g of crab sticks;
- 60 g of parboiled long grain rice;
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 100 g of green salad;
- 1 purple onion;
- 20 g of parsley;
- 1 orange;
- 2 tsp French mustard;
- 4 tablespoons olive oil;
- 1, 5 tbsp. apple cider vinegar;
- salt.
Rinse the rice, boil it in twice as much salted water over medium heat and place on a flat plate to cool quickly. Boil hard-boiled eggs on the adjacent burner, peel and chop. Scald the orange with boiling water so that the skin does not taste bitter, and pat dry with a towel. Grate the zest on a fine grater, squeeze out all the liquid from the pulp. Combine olive oil, zest, orange juice, mustard and vinegar, shake with a fork and refrigerate for now.
Peel the onion and chop finely. In order not to cry, substitute a knife under ice water from time to time. Cut the crab sticks into small pieces and shred them with your fingers in a large salad bowl, crumbling. Pour lettuce, eggs, crumbly rice and onions in there. Pour the spicy orange sauce over the salad, stir well and sprinkle with parsley leaves.
Crab Bean Salad
Ingredients:
- 200 g of crab sticks;
- 200 g canned red beans;
- 3 hard-boiled chicken eggs;
- 1 red bell pepper;
- 150 g of hard cheese;
- 70 g of mayonnaise;
- 20 g of cilantro;
- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper;
- salt.
Coarsely chop the crab sticks and eggs. Remove the seeds from the bell peppers and cut the flesh into cubes. Place the beans in a colander and let all the liquid drain. Grate the cheese coarsely. Put everything in one bowl, salt, pepper and mix with mayonnaise and chopped herbs.
