Meat muffins stuffed with quail eggs can be a great Easter meal. Easter marks the end of Lent, which means there must be meat dishes on the table. In England, these are traditional chickens, in America - the Easter bunny, and somewhere - lambs or ducks. There are no “meat” traditions in Russia, so you can experiment.

It is necessary

  • For 12 pieces you need:
  • - 800 grams of minced meat;
  • - 1 raw chicken egg;
  • - 1 onion;
  • - 12 raw quail eggs;
  • - 120 grams of cheese;
  • - vegetable oil;
  • - mayonnaise or sour cream;
  • - salt and spices.

Instructions

Step 1

Boil quail eggs, cool and remove the shell. Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Step 2

Season the minced meat with a raw egg, fried onions, salt and spices. You can add some crushed garlic for flavor. Knead the mass well.

Step 3

Grease tins for muffins or muffins with vegetable oil and lightly sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Next, put the minced meat in the cooked molds up to half, then a whole quail egg, on top - again the minced meat so that it rises above the edges in the form of a slide. Sprinkle muffins on top with grated cheese mixed with finely chopped herbs.

Step 5

Cook muffins in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about forty minutes. Put the cooled muffins on a flat dish and garnish with herbs.
