It is simply impossible to pass by an appetizing and fragrant gingerbread. It benefits from honey and the taste of your favorite nuts. And most importantly, it is easy to cook it and you can do it with your children. It was honey gingerbread that was the first recipe that my grandmother taught me, and I taught my children.
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 2 cups;
- - white or brown sugar - half a glass;
- - linden honey - 150 grams;
- - chicken egg - 1 piece;
- - favorite nuts - 50 grams;
- - confectionery baking powder - half a bag;
- - ground cloves and cinnamon - optional.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a deep bowl and gently break the egg into it. Add sugar, grind. Combine with cloves, cinnamon, baking powder, flour and knead the dough thoroughly without lumps. You can use different kitchen appliances, but the best results will be obtained if you work with your hands properly.
Step 2
To give the gingerbread a more beautiful dark color, you need to make a burnt. Melt a couple of teaspoons of white sugar in a skillet over low heat until brown. Dilute with two tablespoons of water and bring to a boil. Combine with honey and add to the dough. If there is no time or desire to cook burnt, then you can simply use brown sugar.
Step 3
Then preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Grease a baking sheet with butter, sprinkle it with flour and put the dough on it, giving the shape of a round cake. Sprinkle the dough on top with your favorite chopped or whole nuts. And bake until golden brown for about 20 minutes. Readiness can be determined by piercing the gingerbread with a thin wooden stick. If there is no dough on it, the gingerbread is ready.
