If you do not want to spend a lot of time on baking, then bake a simple but very tasty cake that almost always turns out - a honey gingerbread.

It is necessary

  • - wheat flour - 2 cups;
  • - honey - 150 g;
  • - granulated sugar - 0.5 cups;
  • - lump sugar - 2 pcs.;
  • - water - 2-3 teaspoons;
  • - egg - 1 pc.;
  • - almonds - 50 g;
  • - soda - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - cinnamon, cloves - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

After breaking the egg, place it in a separate deep cup and, after mixing with granulated sugar, grind thoroughly. Then add honey there, preferably liquid, soda, as well as ground cinnamon and cloves. The amount of the last two components depends only on your taste. By the way, if you wish, you can add raisins or dried apricots to the future honey gingerbread. After mixing the mixture properly, add the wheat flour to the mixture. Knead the dough on the prepared work surface for at least 5 minutes.

Step 2

Place two sugar cubes in a clean frying pan without oil. After diluting the burnt sugar with water, mix everything properly. Let the resulting mixture boil, then add it to the bulk. Burnt sugar will darken the honey gingerbread dough.

Step 3

Sprinkle a baking sheet thoroughly with sunflower oil with a little wheat flour. This is necessary so that the baked goods can be easily removed from the mold after cooking.

Step 4

Place the resulting dough on a prepared baking sheet. Spread it over the entire surface of the mold so that it lies in an even layer. Pour almonds, chopped into very small pieces, onto the flattened dough. By the way, almonds can be replaced with any nuts.

Step 5

Bake the dish in the oven, the temperature of which is 180 degrees, until fully cooked, that is, for 15-20 minutes. After allowing the baked goods to cool, remove them from the baking sheet, then cut into portions and serve. The honey mug is ready!
