With the help of such a seemingly ordinary kitchen utensil like a frying pan, you can cook a lot of dishes from a variety of products, whether it be a main course or a dessert. Make liver pancakes, pizza, or caramelized fried bananas in a skillet and you'll be surprised how easy and delicious it is.
Liver pancakes in a skillet
Ingredients:
- 500 g of chicken liver;
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 75 g flour;
- 3/4 tsp salt;
- 1/3 tsp ground black pepper;
- vegetable oil;
- sour cream.
Thoroughly rinse the chicken liver, separate the tough ducts with a knife. Pass the offal through a meat grinder or chop in a blender. Mix the resulting mass with eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Knead the "dough" until smooth. Heat vegetable oil and fry liver pancakes over medium heat for a minute on both sides until they turn grayish brown. Transfer them to a thick paper towel to absorb excess oil. Serve the pancakes with sour cream.
Pizza in a skillet
Ingredients:
- 3 chicken eggs;
- 0.5 tsp salt;
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper;
- 1 tsp Sahara;
- 80 g sour cream;
- 20 g mayonnaise;
- 120 g flour;
- 1/2 tsp soda;
- 2 tomatoes;
- 150 g of boiled sausage or ham;
- 100 g of unsweetened hard cheese;
- 10 g of parsley;
- vegetable oil.
Crack the eggs into a deep bowl and mash them well with salt and pepper with a whisk or mixer. Add sugar there, without stopping whipping the mixture, then alternately add sour cream, mayonnaise and, finally, flour in small portions. Knead the dough with a spoon, making sure that no lumps form, add baking soda at the end. Cut sausage or ham into cubes or strips, tomatoes into thin semicircles. Tear the parsley into leaves with your hands or chop with a knife. Grate hard cheese on a fine grater.
Heat a frying pan over high heat, brush with vegetable oil, pour the dough into it and immediately remove from the stove. Quickly spread the filling of tomatoes, herbs and sausages on top, cover everything with grated cheese and put on the hot burner again. Place the lid on the pan and cook the pizza in a skillet for 5-7 minutes, until the base sets. Cool the dish until warm, then cut into pieces.
Bananas in caramel
Ingredients:
- 2 slightly unripe bananas;
- 2 tbsp. Sahara;
- 20 g butter;
- 60 g vanilla ice cream.
Peel the bananas and cut them obliquely into 1 cm thick transverse slices. Melt the butter, add sugar and simmer over medium heat until dark. Transfer the fruit pieces to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Turn them over gently using a wooden spatula and hold for another minute. Divide the banana slices into two portions and serve with ice cream scoops.
