    • 300 g flour;
    • 100 g sugar;
    • 200 g butter;
    • 1 egg;
    • 150 g currant jam;
    • 180 g peeled almonds;
    • 150 g of chocolate;
    • a pinch of salt.

Instructions

Step 1

Make a shortbread cookie dough. To do this, sift flour with a slide on a wooden board or other work surface, make a depression in the center, add a pinch of salt, sugar, break one egg. Cut the pre-chilled butter into chunks or shavings, then sprinkle flour along the edge of the pile. Chop all ingredients with a knife until fine crumbs are obtained. Knead the dough well with your hands and form a ball out of it. Wrap it in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into three equal portions. On a floured work surface, roll the dough into sausages about 2 cm in diameter, then cut them into pieces about 1 cm thick.

Step 3

Form small balls from the dough pieces. Line a baking sheet with baking paper, place the balls on it and flatten them a little. Use your finger to make a small indentation in the center of each ball.

Step 4

Heat the currant jam, stirring constantly, in a saucepan. Fill the depression of each ball with warm jam. Insert a whole almond into some of the balls. Chop the rest of the almonds and sprinkle them over half of the remaining pieces with jam. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.

Step 5

Chop the chocolate and, stirring it, melt in a hot water bath. Take a piping bag or syringe and fill it with melted chocolate. Decorate each cookie: draw flowers - the middle for them will be jam or a nut. From the proposed number of products, you should get about 60 pieces: 20 cookies with currant jam; 20 - with jam and whole almonds, 20 - with jam and chopped nuts. Let the chocolate harden and serve a delicious tea treat.
