Filo is a very thin dough that makes amazing baked goods, such as delicate baskets of cream, cranberries and hazelnuts.
It is necessary
- For baskets:
- - 8 sheets of filo dough;
- - 110 gr. butter;
- - 3 heaped spoons of bread crumbs.
- For berry filling:
- - 170 gr. fresh cranberries;
- - 50 ml of water;
- - 150 gr. Sahara.
- For the cream:
- - 120 gr. curd cheese;
- - 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar;
- - a teaspoon of lemon zest;
- - a teaspoon of lemon juice.
- Additionally:
- - 3 heaping spoons of chopped hazelnuts (fresh or lightly baked in the oven).
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter. Put a sheet of filo dough on the work surface. Lubricate it with butter and lightly sprinkle with breadcrumbs. We spread the next sheet of dough, grease it with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs. We do the same with the third sheet. We spread the fourth sheet of dough.
Step 2
We cut the finished dough into 12 equal parts and repeat all actions with the remaining four sheets of dough. As a result, you should get 24 identical squares, consisting of 4 layers. Grease the mold for mini-muffins with butter, spread the dough to make baskets.
Step 3
We bake the baskets in the oven (175C) for about 10-12 minutes.
Step 4
We prepare the berry filling (it is better to do this in advance so that it is completely cool by the time of cooking). In a saucepan, mix berries, sugar and water. Bring to a boil over low heat to dissolve the sugar. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
For the cream, beat the sugar with curd cheese, zest and lemon juice.
Step 6
Put the cream in the baskets, add the berry filling, sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts on top. A gorgeous dessert is ready!
