It is necessary

  • For 16 horns:
  • - 1 tsp water;
  • - 1 glass of almonds;
  • - 0.5 tsp almond extract;
  • - 0.5 cups of flour;
  • - 1 glass of powdered sugar;
  • - 0.5 tsp salt;
  • - 10 tbsp. ghee;
  • - 4 squirrels.

Instructions

Step 1

To prepare the horns, we need a special culinary cone. But do not rush to close the page if you do not have it! Just take heavy paper and make a cone out of it (like a seed bag), and then wrap it in parchment paper. Fix it well with a paper clip or tape - of course, we will not bake on this cone.

Step 2

Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Keep in mind that we will need a clean sheet for each new batch of straws, so stock up on cuts!

Step 3

Set the oven to preheat to 150 degrees.

Throw the almonds into the bowl of the food processor and grind them into flour with added sugar (it will not allow the flour to turn into a fatty paste). Then add plain, wheat, flour and salt, mix.

Whisk the whites separately with the addition of water and vanilla.

Dissolve the ghee and let cool slightly.

Step 7

Combine all ingredients: butter, almond flour and proteins. Mix thoroughly until a fairly thin batter is obtained. The correct consistency is determined as follows: if you dip the whisk into the mixture, it will slowly and lazily drain from it. If she runs off briskly enough, just put her in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.

Then pour a tablespoon of dough onto a baking sheet and spread with the back, making a round shape. Diameter - about 15 cm. The layer of dough must be very thin! And smear it very carefully: if you wrinkle the paper, then the horns will come out crumpled. Better, by the way, either bake one cake at a time, or involve homemade ones in the process.

Send the blanks to the oven for about 20 minutes. Take a look: the workpieces must not burn!

Step 10

Carefully, with a spatula, pick up the edge of the biscuit. Place the corner of the homemade cone in the center and, using a spatula, wrap the biscuit tightly around it to make a horn. Hold for about 15 seconds to keep the cone in shape. Now it is clear why it is better to bake them one at a time: while you are busy with one horn, the rest, alas, harden! However, you can put them back in the oven for a few seconds to make them pliable again.

Step 11

Cool ready-made cones in cups and fill with your favorite ice cream! If suddenly there are small holes in the cones at the bottom, do not be discouraged: just put a piece of marshmallow or marmalade on the bottom before putting a frozen dessert into the cone!
