Don't like the oatmeal cookies sold in stores? Overdried, tough, with far from the best composition and not too tasty … So cook it yourself! A little effort and you will end up with soft, aromatic, creamy oatmeal baked goods!

- - raisins, nuts (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Put butter in a ladle, melt, heat well almost to a boil, add oatmeal to the butter, stir, cover and leave to swell for 25-30 minutes.
Step 2
If you are using raisins and / or nuts as an additive, prepare them in advance. Rinse the raisins well to wash off the layer of protective vegetable oil and fill with hot water to swell. Chop the nuts until small.
Step 3
Pour an egg into a bowl for beating, add honey, sugar and vanilla, beat well for four minutes.
Step 4
Add yogurt and beat for another minute.
Step 5
Put the oatmeal with butter to the egg-yogurt mixture, mix well.
Step 6
Pour in the sifted flour and baking powder, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed and leave the dough for another 25-30 minutes.
Step 7
Place the raisins and nuts in the dough and mix gently.
Step 8
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. It is desirable that this paper be with a special impregnation to prevent sticking of products.
Step 9
Take a small amount of dough, shape into any shape you like and place on a baking sheet. So that the dough does not stick to your hands, moisten them with water or sunflower oil. It is desirable that the cookies are not thick - it is better to cook this way and the outer layer does not dry out.
Step 10
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until tender. The baking time depends on the characteristics of the oven and will average 14-16 minutes. It is important not to overdry the cookies so that they bake but remain soft.
Step 11
Once ready, remove the baking sheet from the oven, transfer the cookies to plates and let cool.
