Pumpkin is a storehouse of vitamins and nutrients needed to strengthen the immune system. It is also perfect for making original dough products. For example, it can be used as a filling for a dish such as manti.
It is necessary
- For the test:
- - 400 ml of water;
- - 600 g flour;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - 1 teaspoon of salt.
- For filling:
- - 800 g pumpkin;
- - 1 head of onion;
- - salt and black pepper to taste;
- - a pinch of ground coriander.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine vegetable oil, salt and water in a deep bowl. Add flour gradually, stirring constantly, and knead to a soft dough. Place it under plastic wrap in a warm place for half an hour.
Step 2
Prepare the filling. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into very small cubes. Do the same with the onion. Combine ingredients in a cup, add spices and salt.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a thin layer and cut out flat cakes with a diameter of about 6-8 mm. Place the filling inside and pinch the edges of the cakes, lifting them up to the top. Manty should have an oblong shape, and the filling should look out a little in the middle.
Step 4
Place the manti in a double boiler and cook for 20-30 minutes over medium heat. Put the finished dish on a plate, garnish with parsley and serve with sour cream or adjika.
