The cuisine in Tatarstan is quite diverse and original. I suggest you bake pies according to a traditional Tatar recipe. I think you will like them.

- - meat - 300 g;
- - potatoes - 3 pcs;

- - pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Butter, always cold, chop into small pieces, mix with flour. Pound this mixture until crumbs, then combine with salt and soda. Put kefir and chicken eggs there. Stir the mixture until it turns into a soft dough. Then set it aside.
Step 2
Meat, you can choose any, chop in the form of cubes. Peel and chop the potatoes and onions in the same way as the first ingredient. Combine all products, mix and season with salt and pepper to your taste. The filling for the Tatar pies is ready.
Step 3
Roll out the "rested" dough. Then cut out spherical figures from it. Place the meat filling in the center of the cakes obtained, then fix the edges so that there is a hole in the middle of each pie.
Step 4
Transfer the Tatar pies to a baking sheet with parchment, then bake in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
Step 5
After the time has elapsed, remove the baking, put butter, chopped into small pieces, into the hole and send it back to bake. After another 20 minutes, remove the pies from the oven again and brush them with a beaten chicken egg.
Step 6
Cook the dish after brushing with an egg for another 15 minutes. Tatar pies are ready!
