The Japanese are big lovers of rice, as well as food and culinary products made from it. Rice is cooked boiled, sometimes fried. Usually served with fish, beans and other vegetables. Rice dishes are nutritious because rice contains a large amount of protein. The combination of rice with bell peppers, zucchini, leeks is especially successful; all these products can be combined in a Japanese hot dish called "Fried Rice with Vegetables".
To prepare the dish you will need:
- round grain rice 80 g;
- Chinese cabbage 100 g;
- zucchini 100 g;
-carrot 100 g;
- Bulgarian pepper 80 g;
- leeks 70 g;
- garlic 30 g;
- egg 1 pc;
- vegetable oil 80 g;
-soy sauce 70 g.
Cooking technology of the dish "Fried rice with vegetables"
Sort the rice, if necessary. Then it should be thoroughly rinsed until clear water begins to drain from it. Pour in water in a 1: 1 ratio and heat in a saucepan with the lid open until boiling. When the rice boils, the heat must be reduced to minimum, close the pan with a lid and cook until the water is completely boiled away. Try to look under the lid 1-2 times during the entire cooking process. When all the water has boiled away, remove the pot of rice from the heat and let stand for 20 minutes. Then open the lid and cool the rice a little, season with salt and pepper.
Cabbage, zucchini, bell peppers, carrots and leeks, wash, peel and cut into strips. Vegetables should be sautéed until half cooked, then add boiled rice and finely chopped garlic to them. Fry the mixture and then season it with a raw egg, stir quickly until the egg curdles.
Before serving, the dish is seasoned with soy sauce, and it can also be served separately.
