- - 4 large beets;
- - 200 grams of any salted mushrooms;
- - 1 large onion;
- - 1 lemon, medium size;
- - 1 small bunch of green onions;
- - half a bunch of parsley or dill;
- - 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar;
- - 3 tablespoons of butter;
- - 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil;
- - salt and ground black pepper - to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
The beets are thoroughly washed under running water, then boiled until tender, and then cooled to room temperature.
Step 2
The lemon is washed, cut in half and squeezed out. Rub the zest of one of the lemon halves on a fine grater.
Step 3
The cooled beets are peeled and passed through a meat grinder. Sugar, butter, lemon zest and its juice are added to the resulting mass. Mix everything thoroughly. Then the mixture is put on a small fire and heated for ten minutes. In this case, you need to try to prevent the beets from burning.
Step 4
Peel the onion, wash it in running water and finely chop it. After that, it is fried in a pan in sunflower oil and added to salted mushrooms, previously washed and uncut in small pieces.
Step 5
Green onions are thoroughly washed and chopped with a knife. Parsley or dill are also chopped.
Step 6
A mass of fried onions and mushrooms is salted, pepper and combined with a beetroot mixture. All are mixed gently and laid out on a serving platter. Top can be decorated with parsley.
