So, we are preparing the dish "Cod with cheese sauce"
Cooking time 60 minutes.
Main Ingredients:
Cod - 1 piece (large) or 2 smaller
Sour cream - 200 grams
Onions - 600-700 grams
Cheese - 200 grams
Flour - half a glass
Starch - a teaspoon
Egg - 1 piece
Tomato - 2 large
First, clean, wash and cut the cod into portions. Fry in hot vegetable oil, after rolling each piece in flour. Fry until crispy. The fire should be medium.
Separately fry the onions, cut into large half rings. When frying onions, you can add a bouillon cube instead of salt for flavor.
Now we need to collect everything. In the container in which we will bake the cod, put half of the onion, then carefully fold the pieces of fish and again the onion. Beat (fork) with egg and starch with sour cream, pour cod and onion so that the sour cream completely covers the fish. We put to bake in the oven at 180 degrees, for 30 minutes. About five minutes before the readiness, put the sliced tomato rings and sprinkle thickly with cheese, which we have previously grated on a coarse grater.
Five minutes is enough for the cheese to melt and become the desired consistency. As soon as a brown baked crust appears, turn off the gas and leave the baking sheet in the oven for another 2 minutes, let the fish "rest" a little.
Everything can be served.
Serve cod with potatoes or stand alone.
