Cod fillet becomes unusual and amazing with a tangy green sauce of green tomatoes and chili. Baked potatoes are best served as a side dish.
It is necessary
- - 150 ml. lemon juice;
- - 450 g cod fillet;
- - 300 g green tomatoes;
- - 30 g of garlic;
- - 30 g coriander;
- - 40 ml. vegetable oil;
- - 1/2 onion;
- - 1 green chili.
Instructions
Step 1
Lightly salt the cod fillet and pour with lemon juice. Leave the fish to marinate at room temperature.
Step 2
For green tomatoes (small), cut off the pegs. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for two minutes. Remove the skin from slightly cooled tomatoes.
Step 3
Pour water into a saucepan (about two cm level). We put prepared tomatoes in this water. Bringing the water to a boil, tighten the fire and simmer the tomatoes for ten minutes.
Step 4
Grind the garlic, onion, chopped coriander and small green chili. Add the stewed tomatoes. We pray all this in a blender until absolutely homogeneous.
Step 5
We heat a frying pan greased with vegetable oil. Fry the cod fillets for two minutes on each side.
Step 6
Pour the green sauce over the fish in the pan. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the cod begins to "decay".
