Cod is one of the most popular types of fish among our culinary specialists. Oven baking is the best way to cook cod. This recipe produces a tender cod fillet baked in an aromatic sauce made from Dijon mustard. As a side dish for fish, rice and fresh salad are suitable.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 600 g of cod;
- - 250 g of cherry and green salad;
- - 250 g of basmati rice;
- - 200 ml of cream;
- - 2 carrots;
- - 1 onion;
- - 1 kohlrabi;
- - starch, butter, vegetable oil, Dijon mustard, wine vinegar, white pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 230 degrees.
Step 2
Boil the rice in four servings (about 250 g).
Step 3
Chop the onions. Fry it in butter. Add a glass of cream, 100 ml of water, 2 teaspoons of starch, 1, 5 tbsp. tablespoons of mustard and a pinch of white pepper. Bring to a boil, cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Season the cod fillets with pepper and salt, and place the fish in a baking dish. Pour in the sauce, put in the oven for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Peel the carrots, chop into strips. Add diced kohlrabi. Cut the salad into small pieces. Cut cherry in half, add to vegetables. Season the salad with 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil, pour in 2 teaspoons of white wine vinegar, salt, mix.
Step 6
Serve the cooked cod with boiled rice, fresh salad and aromatic sauce.
