In the lean kitchen, there are many recipes for lean dishes: salads, first courses, main courses, desserts, and even pastries. After all, it so happens that a birthday or a name day falls precisely on fasting. Therefore, lean pastries, in moderation, will serve as a little consolation and will give strength to further fasting.
It is necessary
- - honey - 2-3 tbsp. l.;
- - baking soda - 1 tsp;
- - almond petals;
- - cocoa - 1-2 tbsp. l.;
- - walnut kernels - 1/2 cup;
- - dried apricots - 1/2 cup;
- - wheat flour - 1, 5-2 cups;
- - ground cinnamon;
- - coriander;
- - vegetable oil -1/2 cup
Instructions
Step 1
Pour water and sugar into a small saucepan, stir. When the sugar dissolves, you need to add vegetable oil. Put a saucepan over low heat and heat slightly. Then add honey and while stirring, make sure that it dissolves well.
Step 2
Finely chop dried apricots and walnut kernels with a sharp knife. In a separate bowl, combine baking soda, cocoa, dried apricots, nuts, and to add a spicy taste, add a pinch of ground cinnamon and coriander. Mix everything with a dry wooden spatula. Add the resulting mixture to a saucepan (honey, water, sugar, oil, vegetable oil) and gradually add the sifted flour. Knead the dough thoroughly, it should be free of lumps and resemble thick sour cream in consistency.
Step 3
Prepare a baking dish. Cut a sheet of baking paper to size with scissors and brush with a little vegetable oil or melted butter. Sprinkle a little flour on the bottom of the mold. Pour the dough into a mold and decorate with a layer of almond petals on top. You need to bake lean honey gingerbread at a temperature of 190-200 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
