They are a source of vitamins A, D, E, as well as casein and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Processed cheeses go well with vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, meat, thanks to which they become components of various dishes, which are given a special piquancy.

Arizona cocktail salad

This processed cheese fruit and vegetable salad is not only delicious but also beautiful. It looks very impressive on a festive table. To prepare it you will need:

- 5 tangerines;

- 2 apples;

- 2 sweet peppers;

- 100 g of champignons;

- 200 g of processed cheese;

- 200 ml of natural yogurt;

- 2 tbsp. l. lemon juice;

- 1 tsp. mustard;

- 1 tsp. honey.

Peel the apples and carefully remove the cores. Cut the pulp into small cubes. Wipe the champignons well with a damp cloth, cut into slices and boil in salted water until cooked. Peel the tangerines and divide into wedges. Wash the sweet bell pepper, dry it and, after removing the seeds, cut into thin rings. Cut the cheese into small cubes. Put prepared ingredients in a salad bowl or portioned bowls: apples, peppers, tangerines, cheese and boiled mushrooms.

To prepare the sauce, mix thoroughly natural yogurt, mustard, freshly squeezed lemon juice and liquid honey. Pour the finished sauce into a salad bowl or add to the bowls and mix gently with the rest of the ingredients. Garnish the Arizona salad with tangerine wedges before serving.

Cheese cake with mushrooms

To prepare a snack cheese cake with mushrooms, you will need:

- 300 g of finished puff pastry;

- 80 g smoked brisket;

- 400 g of mushrooms;

- 100 g of smoked processed cheese;

- 3 eggs;

- 2 tbsp. l. sour cream;

- 2 tbsp. l. thyme;

- nutmeg;

- salt;

- pepper.

Beat the chicken eggs, add sour cream, black or allspice, salt, nutmeg and mix well. Wash fresh mushrooms thoroughly; if champignons are used, then wipe them thoroughly with a damp cloth. Then peel the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices. Wash the thyme, dry and chop finely. Then combine the mushrooms and thyme with the egg and sour cream mixture.

Roll out the puff pastry into a layer and put it on the bottom of a greased heat-resistant form, also form the sides of a snack cake from the layer of dough. Place the egg and mushroom mixture on top of the dough and flatten. Grate the melted smoked cheese on a coarse grater and spread over the mushroom mass. Cut the smoked brisket into thin slices and lay on top. Then put the form with a snack cake in an oven preheated to 220 ° C for 15 minutes, bake until fully cooked.
