A sandwich in the usual sense is bread and butter, some put cheese or sausage on top. But there are recipes according to which hot sandwiches are prepared; they amaze with the variety of ingredients and fillings.
Hot herring sandwiches
You will need:
- salted herring 1-2 pcs;
- sliced white loaf;
- milk 0.5 l;
- mustard - 1-2 tbsp. l;
- boiled egg yolk - 2-3 pcs;
- vegetable oil.
We cut the fish, remove the skin, the ridge with bones and entrails. Cut the two resulting fillet halves across into pieces 3-4 cm wide. Soak fillet pieces in milk for 30-40 minutes. Grind the yolks with mustard, gradually adding 1 tbsp. l. sunflower oil. Fry the loaf slices on both sides in sunflower oil until golden brown, put on a paper napkin, cool slightly. Grease each slice with an egg-mustard mass, spread the pieces of herring on top. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put the sandwiches in a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot.
Quick hot sandwiches
You will need:
- white bread or loaf;
- tomato 1-2 pcs;
- sausages 2-3 pcs;
- parsley 5-6 branches;
- garlic - 2-3 cloves;
- mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l;
- hard cheese - 80-100 g;
- sunflower oil.
Cut the tomato and sausages (boiled sausage) into small cubes, put them in a bowl. Finely chop the parsley and pour into a bowl. Peel the garlic and rub it on a fine grater (pass through a garlic press), add to the sausages and tomato. Mix all the ingredients and fill the filling with mayonnaise, mix again. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, put slices of bread into it. Put the filling on the bread and sprinkle with grated cheese on a coarse grater. We put a baking sheet in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 15 minutes. You can serve these sandwiches both hot and cold.
