  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • -1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons sugar
  • -2 and ¼ teaspoon dry yeast
  • -4 cups + ½ cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • -2 teaspoons of salt
  • -1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dried berries (blueberries, blueberries, cherries, strawberries)
  • -1 egg white
  • -1 teaspoon skim milk
  • For decoration:
  • -1 egg white
  • -1 glass of powdered sugar (more is possible)
  • -3 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Step 1

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, and ½ cup sugar. Heat the mixture, but do not boil. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add yeast and 4 cups flour. Cover the pot with a clean towel and leave in a warm place for 1 hour.

Step 2

After one hour has passed, add ½ cup flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt to the dough. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

Step 4

Prepare a board for rolling out the dough, dust it with flour. Using a rolling pin, carefully roll out the dough over the entire surface of the board 2-4 centimeters thick. Cut the dough into small pieces, in the future these will be buns.

Step 5

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and powdered sugar on top of the bun and add the berries. Then close the bun so the filling is inside.

Whisk the egg white and milk together. Lightly brush each bun with the mixture.

Step 6

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease with butter. Then carefully transfer each bun to a baking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes, until the buns are browned.

Step 7

Remove the buns from the oven and start preparing the frosting.

Step 8

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg white, 1 cup powdered sugar, and 3 tablespoons of milk. Add more caster sugar and milk if needed to make the fudge sweet.

Step 9

Apply frosting to each bun. For convenience, you can use a cooking syringe. Let the frosting harden a little before serving. Bon Appetit!
