Do you like French cuisine? If not, then it means you haven't tried the tartiflette dish. This unusual name hides a potato casserole with cheese and ham.
It is necessary
- - potatoes - 800 g;
- - onion - 1 piece;
- - bacon or ham - 100 g;
- - Dutch cheese - 250 g;
- - cream with a fat content of 22% - 140 ml;
- - butter;
- - salt;
- - pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
The first thing to do is wash the potatoes and peel them off. After this is done, it should be cut into thick slices. Then pour water into a saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, dip the sliced potatoes in it and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Next, melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion in it for 5 minutes. While the onions are cooking, cut the ham or bacon into small pieces. Then pour everything into the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 3
This dish must be laid out in layers. First put in half of all the boiled potatoes, then lay out the fried onions and bacon, and only then the cheese diced into cubes. Season with pepper and salt. Make the next layers in exactly the same order. Pour cream on top of the dish and send it to bake in an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 10-12 minutes, that is, until it has a golden color. The tartiflet is ready!
