Chicken Tortilla Soup is a great Mexican-style dish!
It is necessary
- - 1 liter of chicken broth
- - 2 chicken breast fillets
- - juice of 3 limes
- FOR REFUELING:
- - 4 tortillas
- - 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
- - 1 finely chopped green chili
- 1/2 red onion (cut into rings and then each ring into 4 pieces)
- - 2 finely chopped large tomatoes (peel and seed)
- - a bunch of cilantro (finely chopped)
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the broth into a saucepan, place the chicken in it and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes until chicken is done. Place the chicken on a plate. Add 150 ml of water to the broth, cover and keep on low heat.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Brush the tortillas with butter on both sides, cut into strips and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes until crisp.
Step 3
Chop the chicken finely and place on bowls. Top with tortilla, chili, onion, tomato slices and cilantro. Add lime juice to broth and serve on bowls. Serve.
