Pinocchio cake is a sweet, delicate, airy dessert with a fabulous name. It will take only an hour to prepare this cake, but at the same time, a magical and insanely delicious dessert is provided.
Ingredients for the base of the cake:
- Powdered sugar - 90 g;
- Eggs - 3 pieces;
- Baking powder - 2 tsp;
- Cream - 2 tablespoons;
- Flour - 100 g;
- Ghee butter - 150 g.
Ingredients for meringue:
- Egg whites - 3 pieces;
- Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp;
- Powdered sugar - 170 g;
- Almonds are a handful.
Filler Ingredients:
- Whipped cream - 300 g;
- Raspberries - 230 g.
Preparation:
- It is necessary to warm up the oven, the optimum temperature will be 200 degrees. Then you need to start preparing the base - beat the egg yolks with sugar until a frothy light consistency. Sift flour together with baking powder, add to well-beaten yolks. Then add the cream and butter, melted in a saucepan. Mix everything well.
- Then you need to prepare the meringue mixture. For her, mix egg whites, whipped to the peaks, add vanilla sugar. Beat the resulting mixture again to form stable peaks.
- Now you need to collect the cake to put it in the oven. Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on the bottom of the mold. Pour the dough prepared for the base into the mold, level the surface. After that, spread the meringue on the base, sprinkle it on top with a chopped large knife into fine almonds.
- Bake the Pinocchio cake in the oven for about 5 minutes. Then reduce the oven temperature by 30 degrees and continue baking for another half hour.
- The finished cake must be chilled. Whip heavy cream and mix with mashed potatoes and raspberries passed through a strainer. Divide the baked cake in half by cutting it lengthwise with a knife.
