In autumn days, more and more often you want to spend evenings with loved ones at a cozy table, discussing current issues, making plans for the future. And I just want to talk with dear people. Over a cup of tea, the conversation is more relaxed, the home atmosphere is always calming.
To diversify the menu, you can bake quite tasty and unusual cucumber pies. Having tried them once, all family members will be asked to repeat the hostess to cook them again. It will not take much time to prepare them, so in the evening there will be enough time for a leisurely tea party with pies.
For quick preparation of the dough, you can use dry yeast.
For the test you will need:
Milk - 1 glass;
Dry yeast - 1 tsp;
Flour - 0.5 kg;
Sugar - 1 tsp;
Salt - 1 tsp
Dissolve dry yeast in warm milk and leave for 10 minutes. Then add salt, sugar and flour, kneading the dough thoroughly until it leaves your hands. Put in a warm place and start preparing the filling.
For the filling you will need:
Pickled cucumber - 5 pcs.;
Onion - 3 pcs.;
Egg - 2 pcs.
Home-preserved cucumbers are great for the filling, but you can also buy them in the store. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes, about 5 mm each, squeeze out the liquid. In a skillet, fry the cucumbers in vegetable oil, add chopped onions.
After 15-20 minutes, add the beaten eggs and, stirring, fry the filling for another 3 minutes.
When the dough comes up and the filling for the pies has cooled down a little, you can proceed to the most important thing: sculpting and frying pies with cucumbers.
