Beef stew with red wine and orange zest is an exquisite main course that can also be served for a festive feast as the main decoration of the table. Everyone can cook soft tender beef!
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - beef fillet - 900 g;
- - onions - 450 g;
- - young carrots - 450 g;
- - dry red wine - 750 ml;
- - grape oil - 2 tbsp. spoons;
- - salt - 2 tsp;
- - one orange;
- - ground black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Brush a large piece of beef fillet with salt and pepper, place in a saucepan in hot oil. Fry the meat on all sides, put on a dish.
Step 2
Throw chopped carrots and onions into the same saucepan, salt and pepper, fry for about ten minutes. Then pour in red wine, add orange zest, cut into thin slices.
Step 3
Bring the liquid to a boil, add the meat. Bring to a boil again, cover, remove from heat.
Step 4
After five minutes, put the dishes in the oven heated to 180 degrees, simmer the meat under the lid. Cook for two to three hours. Divide the finished beef into portions, serve with vegetables, in which the meat was stewed. Bon Appetit!
