  • - onions 2 pcs
  • - carrots 1 pc
  • - butter 100 g
  • - fat cream 50 ml
  • - salt to taste
  • - pepper to taste
  • - vegetable oil

Instructions

Step 1

We begin to prepare the pate by treating the liver. We protect the piece from all films and veins, cut it into pieces of about 3 cm. At the same time, we take out the butter from the refrigerator and leave it at room temperature.

Step 2

We clean onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. We pass everything until golden brown. Simultaneously fry the pieces of liver until golden brown and bring it to readiness.

Step 3

The preparatory phase is over. Now we take a meat grinder and pass the slightly cooled fried pieces of liver through it. Mix well.

Step 4

Add sautéed onions with carrots and butter at room temperature to the scrolled liver. Knead everything well and add a little heavy cream. The pate should resemble a very thick pancake dough. Salt and pepper to taste. Add spices.

Step 5

We take a beautiful deep container and put the pate in it, put it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, preferably more.
