In the very season of harvesting, it is worth preparing an unusual sauce. Considering that 3 tastes are combined in it at once: spicy, sour and sweet, you simply cannot help falling in love with the sauce!

- Products:
- -550-600 grams of red bell pepper
- 3-4 hot chili peppers, preferably Espelett
- -130-150 grams brown sugar
- -3-4 tablespoons of water
- -20-25 ml lemon juice
- Kitchen items:
- - Cookware with thick walls (stewpan, frying pan)
- -Blender
- -Stirring paddle
- -Jar with lid
Instructions
Step 1
Wash all types of pepper, cut and carefully remove the inner partitions and seeds with a sharp knife. In jam, seeds are not needed, the pungent taste will suffice. Grind the peppers in a blender. The consistency should be almost puree-like, but with few chunks.
Step 2
Combine sugar, lemon juice and water in a saucepan. Turn on medium heat and prepare the syrup.
Step 3
Put the mixture of peppers in the syrup and cook over low heat for 40-45 minutes. During this time, the mass will thicken and some of the liquid will evaporate. Remember to stir. Place hot in jars or use immediately with food. It is very unusual and delicious with meat, any kind of cheese, chicken.
